About Us
Financial stress is identified as the #1 stressor in America. This financial stress results in depression and anxiety within clients making it difficult for them to function normally in a world where we deal with finances daily. This cause of deep discomfort and disorder is often overlooked and undervalued as a psychological issue that requires support and healing. For individuals to truly thrive, they need to become aware of and process that which contributes to the irrational financial mindset and behavior so they may live a life of financial ease regardless of their means.
From the Founder
Everyone has a money story. It is a conglomeration of their upbringing, social conditioning and personal experience. Too often people simply agree with a money story and allow it to rule their life without investigating where it comes from. Money stories drive people’s relationships with money causing a plethora of behaviors such as shying away from money management or hoarding money in an effort to feel safe. The truth is, money works to supply for a complicated system of your personal and often competing physical and emotional needs. If you find that you are making repetitive financial errors and serving one personal need but defying another, this means it’s time to explore exactly where your emotions meet your finances.
As a doctor of psychology I have focused my career on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Finance, and Neuroeconomics to help clients gain a deep understanding of how their finances are experienced from before they were born until the present moment. I focus on uncovering the truth of their personal financial story and helping them to discard that story and recreate the one they truly wish to live.
I look forward to connecting with you and working with you to discover precisely where your money and emotions meet.
